THE FOUNDER

Linda Cox

It has been a God-given talent, a love for beauty, persistence, determination and trust in God that have gotten Linda B. Cox where she is today. Currently the CEO of Exotic Hair Care Center, located at 431 E. College St. in Jackson, Tenn., and VViolet Hair Care Product (which began in 1994 and ships nationwide).

Cox grew up in Humboldt, Tenn., where she graduated from Stigall High School. She attended Jackson State Community College, Victor's Business College in Memphis and the Nashville campus of the Miami School of Beauty.

Having been at the College Street location for over 30 years, Cox said it has been wonderful being a business owner, even though it is hard work. Cox has also received praise from other women in the beauty field who she has inspired to be business owners.
